ooRexx is an open source scripting language that extends the capabilities of the REXX programming language for productivity and systems administration tasks. It comes with many built-in functions and IBM products and third-party applications offer additional functionality through extension packages and classes. ooRexx is cross-platform and runs on Windows, macOS, Linux, Unix, and z/OS.

This free download provides prebuilt packages for Windows and macOS, making it easy to get started with ooRexx. The ooRexx interpreter and runtime libraries are included in the download, so you don't need to install any additional software. ooRexx (Open Object Rexx) : Home of the Open Object Rexx Project. ooRexx is the open source version of IBM's Object REXX Interpreter. It is upwardly compatible with classic REXX and will execute classic REXX programs unchanged. The project is managed by the Rexx Language Association.
