Marinara sauce is a classic Italian sauce made with tomatoes, garlic, onions, and herbs. It is a versatile sauce that can be used on pasta, pizza, or as a dipping sauce. Marinara sauce is typically made with fresh tomatoes, but canned tomatoes can also be used. If you are using canned tomatoes, be sure to drain them well before adding them to the sauce.
To make marinara sauce, simply combine all of the ingredients in a large saucepan and bring to a boil. Then, reduce heat and simmer for at least 30 minutes, or until the sauce has thickened. You can adjust the consistency of the sauce by adding more or less water. Once the sauce has reached the desired consistency, season with salt and pepper to taste.
